最近、あらためて、Ｓｈａｚａｍ（http://www.shazam.com/）という音楽検索のサービスにはまっています。
 
このサービスはもう2002年にロンドンでロンチされたサービスで、ロンチして間もないころ、ロンドンでＶＣらと会話した時に、どうだろうね、と言いつも、現在も出資している某ＶＣの代表Ｐａｒｔｎｅｒたちが絶対いけるぞ！！っと言っていたのを、大変印象的に覚えています。
 
そんなかんな、私も長くiPhoneやAndroid端末にインストールして使っていたのですが、最近、彼らの音楽を認識し識別する技術と、データベース、ＵＩ，全てが素晴らしいと、驚嘆しています。
 
意外と、よく街で聞くけれど、誰がうたっているのか知らない名曲、好みのジャンル、ってあるものです。
 
単に曲名を特定出来るだけではなく、検索した曲のログを基に、iTMSの購入画面リンク、更に、youtubeリンクでフルListen出来るのは素晴らしいです。
 
このＤＢや、ＵＩが完成するまで、1歩、1歩の道のりだったと思いますが、確かに世の中に価値をもたらしている。素晴らしい！
 
今の時代、色々なことが変化の連続です。しかしながら、自分が人生の生の中で、その時その時を楽しみながら、社会に、人に、仲間に良いことを出来るか、それが、楽しさの根源です。そんな中、素敵な音楽、空間、時に車で夜景を楽しみながら音楽で癒される至福の時です。
 
そういう私もお盆の最中、仕事をしながらも、車を運転ながら、Shazamくんがもたらしてくれるmusic Guidance & Navigation でとっても、楽しませてもらっています。
 
私たちのケイパは、Shazamを創り上げた代表のAndrewたちとはまた別のところだと思いますが、他に決してない自分達の得意領域で、これに負けない何かを作って行きたいと思うばかりです。Shazamを楽しみながらあらためて、温かく励まされました！
